FAR AND AFTER
NO LONGER RAIN
Apolline loves leaned rhythms, she runs on all stages and among the crowd shouting strange poems. She says that music has to express everything that does not have the word, and first, there is the body.
Made of contemporary influences associated with solid seventies roots, the pieces of the quintet are a mix of energy, harmony and devastating lyricism. Baptized in 2013 with a debut album No Longer Rain (M&O Music, Believe), Apolline stands out from her peers by revealing her talent and moods. Theatrical and imposing, she never stops looking for devouring and uncompromising passions. The band come back with a new ep Far And After (Hybridcore Prod, Wiseband). Marking a new beginning, and the insatiable desire to fight it again and again with the stage.
Apolline was born in the french midwest under the impulse of five hotheads from Blois, Tours and Paris. Strongly marked by the Stoner Rock and the Blues, she develops her own style at the croassroads between the spontaneous music of Skip James, the impressive rumblings of John Bonham and the intoxicant guitars of Queens Of The Stone Age.
